Foot Mobilisation & Manipulation (FMT)

Mobilisation therapy is a technique that is widely used by Podiatry, Physiotherapy, Chiropractic and Osteopathy professions.  Our team of Podiatrists have undergone post graduate study in Foot Mobilisation Therapy (FMT).

FMT works with the patient's body to correct misalignments of the joints of the feet. Misalignments cause pain as the soft tissue and collagenous structures compensate. This therapy is generally coupled with a strengthening and stretching program.

FMT has been found clinically to assist with many musculoskeletal conditions like:

  • Plantar Fasciosis
  • Posterior Tibialis tendinopathy
  • Achilles tendinopathy
  • Ankle instability
  • Sinus tarsi syndrome
  • Sports injuries
  • Bursitis
  • Neuroma
